Secondhand postcards: Italy

Caorle stamped June 21, 1965. I was there on summer vacation with my parents and grandparents in 1989 and couldn’t believe my eyes when I came upon this postcard. I mostly remember the beach, the sour cherry ice cream (Even at the tender age of nearly 6, this was my favorite flavor) and the smell of salami in the grocery store.

St Peter’s square, Rome: stamped May 25, 1974. I was there as well, in April 1999, and loved it… all except the youth hostel where we were staying. My favorite was the Colosseum.
