Netherlands
The card shows a typical Dutch vending machine called "automatiek". I have a postcard of one selling wooden tulips as well. Thank you very much Sylvia!

United States
Another postcard from my friend Nikki.
Vidalia Onions “Sweet Georgia Taste”- The Vidalia Onion is a Georgia-grown yellow granex hybrid known for its sweet, mild flavor. The industry’s annual harvest brings some $ 50 million into Georgia ’s economy. Vidalia onions are harvested from late April through to mid-June. In 1990, Georgia Legislature declared the Vidalia onion as the official state vegetable. Approximately 275 growers cultivate Vidalia onions on over 10,000 acres.

Postcard from Austria
I was thrilled to receive this Austrian postcard! Food is one of my favorite postcard themes and I'm familiar with all the dishes featured here as Austrian cuisine is very, very similar to the Czech one.

Postcard from Finland
Description:
Sweet bread called pulla was a rare treat. Since good flour was hard to get and mills were miles away, pulla was baked only for holidays. A large amount of dough was prepared, and some of the remaining sweet bread was dried into rusk. Ram head pullas and grandma’s baking towel from Western Finland.
