Secondhand postcards: France

The upper postcard was stamped on September 1st, 1959 (which makes it the oldest stamped postcard in my collection), in Bourmont and shows a street view of Neufchâteau. I don't collect black and white postcards but bought this one due to my special fondness for France.
The lower postcard (mint) shows a panoramic view of the Iles du Frioul near Marseille.

Secondhand postcards: France

Paris, mon amour! (This isn't even exaggerated; I've been there 12 times, anything between a few hours in transit and 2.5 months... my favorite place on Earth!). This postcard was stamped September 21, 1966, in the rue La Boètie post office.

Dominique from the beautiful region of Alsace (Alsatia in English) right at the Swiss border sent me this awesome postcard of houses in Colmar, where I've been many times. Beautiful town!

Postcards from France, part 3

Postcards from France, part 2

I've been wanting a Chat Noir card for a very long time...

Postcards from France, part 1

I've swapped cards with David, an American expat living in Lyon, for the second time. I didn't translate the recipe - I don't think someone reading this blog will be considering eating frog legs- but it's as French as the baguette and the béret basque... and it sounds good!
