Postcard from Austria
I was thrilled to receive this Austrian postcard! Food is one of my favorite postcard themes and I'm familiar with all the dishes featured here as Austrian cuisine is very, very similar to the Czech one.

Postcards from France, part 1
I've swapped cards with David, an American expat living in Lyon, for the second time. I didn't translate the recipe - I don't think someone reading this blog will be considering eating frog legs- but it's as French as the baguette and the béret basque... and it sounds good!
Postcard from Oregon
Roy Rogers (1911-1998) sang his way to silver screen stardom in the late 1930s and by 1943 Republic Pictures was calling him “King of the Cowboys”. For millions of fans, Rogers was the essence of the Western hero, the good guy with the white hat, warm smile, and exemplary character.
Postcard from the U.K.
Dave sent me the England flag (or St George's cross) in exchange for a Switzerland flag card. Thank you very much!
