    I noticed you called this Fort Sumter on your other page. This is not Fort Sumter. Fort Sumter is in Charleston,SC and is where the War started. Andersonville (I've been there) was officially known as Camp Sumter,which was just named this after the county where it is located, and commonly as Andersonville (the name of a village near the prison). The National Prisoner of War Museum is now located here and the whole Site is a good place to visit. The museum is very nicely done and informative.
