Card description: The giant panda, Ailuropoda melanoleuca, is one of the world’s rarest mammals. It is found in the wild in remote mountainous regions in central China.  The upper postcard was stamped on September 1st, 1959 (which makes it the oldest stamped postcard in my collection), in Bourmont and shows a street view of Neufchâteau. I don't collect black and white postcards but bought this one due to my special fondness for France.

The lower postcard (mint) shows a panoramic view of the Iles du Frioul near Marseille.

Paris, mon amour! (This isn't even exaggerated; I've been there 12 times, anything between a few hours in transit and 2.5 months... my favorite place on Earth!). This postcard was stamped September 21, 1966, in the rue La Boètie post office.
